Currently working with Mobile Operators in the Middle East, Hanif Lalani is a London-based advisor, business leader & entrepreneur with a vast resume spanning the financial sector. The British business executive was apppointed finance ambassador to Northern Ireland in 2010.

Born in Uganda in 1962, Lalani moved to the United Kingdom aged 10, and joined a financial group in 1983 as a graduate trainee. He moved to Northern Ireland in 1998 to become finance director, and a year later was made CEO. 
 

In 2007, the Institute of Asian Professionals named Hanif Lalani in its Muslim Power 100 list, at #30.
